In Memory of Jon Supran
The Elstree and Borehamwood Green Belt Committee remember, with great sadness, our friend and colleague Jonathan Supran who died suddenly in September 2025.
Jon, a retired accountant and author, had a great love for the natural environment.  He served as our Planning Secretary with lively enthusiasm and never failed to hold the local Planning Authority to account when problems arose with conservation issues.
We sadly miss his relevant and intelligent contributions to our meetings.
Our thoughts are with his widow and family.
We plan to plant a memorial tree as a fitting tribute and to carry on the campaign he cared so much about, the battle to save our green countryside from destruction.
